FNQ Rugby is the association for the Rugby Union competition of Far North Queensland.

the association is affiliated with Queensland Country Rugby Union, Queensland Rugby Union and Australian Rugby Union

FNQ Rugby is made up of Member Clubs, Referees and School's spread across the region from Innisfail in the South, to Port Douglas and surrounds in the North and West to the Tablelands. There are Senior Men's, Women's, Junior's and School competitions

The FNQ Rugby Competition holds friendly and representative  games throughout the season alongside the Men's, Women's and Juniors Competition. The Association also manages the Cairns Representative Rugby Side - FNQ Thunder
